Welcome to Viggbyholms skating school in Täby
In our skating school you can learn to skate or you can further develop your skills. We offer several groups for different skill levels, instructed by certified coaches. We have our trainings in Hägernäs ishall in Täby. We are accepting applications now for the spring period between week 2 and week 17.
Viggbyholms IK Konståkning offers beginners trainings once or twice a week. For skaters who have already made progress and collected some badges, we also offer training three days a week.
1 training per week: continuous intake, subject to availability
No prior knowledge required. Come and try, first lesson is free of charge
Price for the 1-day group:
- 1700kr for the spring 2026 term between week 2-17
- 1300kr for the spring 2026 term between week 6-17
We offer the following 1-day alternatives:
- Alternative 1: Wednesday 17:30-18:15 – FULLY BOOKED, please mail us if you want to queue
- Alternative 2: Saturday 15:30-16:15
- Alternative 3: Sunday 11:35-12:20
- Alternative 4: Sunday 11:35-12:20 for older children (>8 yo)
2 trainings per week: continuous intake, subject to availability

Price for the 1-day group: 3000kr for the spring 2026 term

- Wednesday 17:30-18:20
- Sunday off-ice 10:45-11:15 then ice 11:30-12:20

Price for the 1-day group: 1200kr per month
- Wednesday off-ice 16:30-17:20, ice 17:30-18:20
- Saturday 15:30-16:20
- Sunday ice 10:30-11:20, off-ice 11:30-12:20
Apart from the fees above, all skaters who are older than 7 years old pay a membership fee in Viggbyholms IK. This is valid for the whole 2025/26 season and only have to be paid once. It includes skater insurance, competition license for competitive skaters and also entitles for discounts at our partners. For skaters younger than 7 years, this fee is included in the term fees above. If you have paid the membership fee in the autumn, it is still valid.
